Unsolved Vol. 1: Alcatraz Escape
OVERVIEW:
Volume 1 of a monthly interactive publication about real unsolved mysteries. This publication mimics police case files and invites the reader to use their critical thinking as they navigate through the publication and uncover more information and evidence. This particular issues is about the trio of convicts that escaped the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in 1962. All pieces of publication were designed and manipulated with a focus on creating realistic pieces of evidence using typography, hand-manipulation, texture, and visual density. The end result is an immersive, inquisitive narration that envelopes the reader in an engaging experience. An additional digital platform is detailed where readers can share their findings and build community.
