OVERVIEW:

A satirical series exploring the value placed on aesthetics versus function.
The series includes three piece: The Survival Puffer, The Kids Coat, and The Tech Trench. Each piece of outerwear is equipped with numerous emergency essentials sealed inside, contributing also to the overall look inspired by hypebeast and streetwear aesthetics. However, in order to access the items in an emergency, the jackets must be cut opened and destroyed with scissors - ironically also entrapped and sealed within each jacket. The jackets present the user with an absurd level of functionality as it questions and juggles its value between a visually aesthetic fashion statement or a portable emergency kit.
